A USoft Case Study
Schiphol Airport needed a flexible, scalable, and reliable technology foundation to support its vision of an autonomous, event-driven airport. To make data and processes usable across the airport, Schiphol turned to USoft, using its low-code development platform for Business Rules Engine (BRE) and Complex Event Processing (CEP) capabilities.
USoft helped Schiphol build an integration landscape based on decoupled data and applications, enabling real-time process support and centralized business rules. The airport has developed 13 microservices with USoft so far, including applications for aircraft stand allocation, mishandled baggage, and dynamic opening times. Schiphol reports that developers can become productive in about two months, and the platform is now being extended through mixed teams and a growing cloud/containerization roadmap.
