IMVS, a Birmingham-based software provider for small and mid-sized asset managers, needed a way to keep its platform compliant with constantly changing laws and regulations without relying on a large development team. The company had already rebuilt its software in 1996 using USoft’s low-code, business-rules platform and continued to evolve it as the market and regulatory landscape changed.

Using the USoft low-code platform, IMVS could translate complex requirements into explainable business rules, integrate easily with other systems via APIs, and quickly adapt to major changes such as GDPR and MiFID2. With a team of just eight employees, including three developers, IMVS updated its platform in nine months to meet both regulations on time, while delivering end-to-end digitalization and streamlined workflows for customers.
