Archifact, an adaptive information technology company founded in 1997, needed a way to generate custom software automatically without coding. The challenge was to create scalable business software that could capture business rules once and avoid duplicating logic across many process steps and interfaces. Archifact worked with USoft and used the USoft low-code platform as the foundation for this approach.

USoft provided its Business Rules Engine, supplemented by an interface generator developed by Archifact, enabling a software factory that automatically generates back-end systems, GUI, and APIs from centrally managed business rules. This helped Archifact build both custom procurement software and its standard Purchase-to-Pay application Shpr, while keeping a compact team and making it easier to adapt software when rules such as VAT change. The result was faster, more maintainable software delivery and the ability to serve large customers across diverse sectors.
