UserWay Makes Dreams More Accessible for Little Dreamers Australia

Little Dreamers Australia, a children and youth non-profit, needed to make its website and Dreamers Hub more accessible for young carers, families, donors, volunteers, and employees, including users with disabilities and an employee with dyslexia. The organization wanted a solution that would improve accessibility without a costly full redesign and would keep new content compliant as the site expanded. UserWay’s AI-powered accessibility widget was selected to help address these needs.

UserWay implemented its accessibility widget on both the Little Dreamers website and Dreamers Hub, identifying and remediating existing barriers while automatically helping future content stay compliant with ADA and WCAG standards. The result was full accessibility and compliance across 251 pages, with 3,107 violations fixed, including A, AA, and AAA issues. UserWay also gave users tools like text resizing, contrast settings, and a dyslexia-friendly font, helping Little Dreamers better serve its community while reducing the ongoing burden on its team.
