UserWay Makes a Website for Disabled People Even More Accessible

Yoocan is a global collaborative community for people with disabilities, and it needed its website to be widely accessible for users around the world, including those using assistive technologies. The team wanted a solution that would work across the site without manually recoding hundreds of pages, automatically support new content, and protect visitor privacy. UserWay’s AI-Powered Accessibility Widget fit those requirements.

UserWay implemented its AI-Powered Accessibility Widget on yoocanfind.com, giving visitors tools like screen reader support, contrast controls, text resizing, pause animations, and dyslexia-friendly viewing. The widget was added with just one line of code and immediately fixed more than 58,000 accessibility violations across 742 pages, remediating 58,913 issues overall. As a result, about 98% of Yoocan’s web pages are now fully accessible and compliant, while reducing ADA-related legal risk and making the site more inclusive.
