A UserWay Case Study
BlindPax, an organization that runs educational seminars and diversity programs for the tourism and hospitality industry across Africa, needed a simple and affordable way to make its website accessible to people with disabilities. Because many blind users could not afford screen readers like JAWS, BlindPax also wanted an accessibility solution with a built-in screen reader and a way to help client websites stay accessible as new content was added. The company chose UserWay’s AI-Powered Accessibility Widget to address these needs.
UserWay implemented its AI-Powered Pro Accessibility Widget on BlindPax’s site, giving visitors tools such as a screen reader, text enlargement, contrast controls, reading guide, and animation pausing, while also preserving privacy. The widget required only one line of code and automatically remediated accessibility issues as content was added. UserWay fixed all 3,336 violations on the BlindPax website across 99 pages, including missing alt text and descriptive image text, enabling faster publishing and ongoing compliance support.
