How Talana Enhanced Customer Onboarding

Talana, a human resources solutions company with eight products for recruiting, payroll, benefits, communications, and workplace communities, needed a better way to onboard customers at scale. Its existing onboarding setup, including Intercom, couldn’t handle Talana’s dynamic URLs and attributes, and pricing became difficult to predict as usage grew.

Talana switched to Userpilot and used it to build checklists, interactive walkthroughs, modals, banners, tooltips, a resource center, and analytics dashboards for onboarding and self-service support. With Userpilot, Talana saw strong engagement results, including 35.6% of users engaging with modals/banners/pop-ups and 31% engaging with tooltips, while also improving customer support and overall onboarding effectiveness.
