How Groupize gamified their new user onboarding with Userpilot

Groupize, a modern meetings management platform, needed a new user onboarding tool on very short notice when their existing solution was shutting down just six days before a major launch. Looking for a self-serve, intuitive way to support users and improve product adoption, the team turned to Userpilot.

Using Userpilot, Groupize built a gamified onboarding assistant called G.G. with interactive walkthroughs, checklists, guided tours, and a resource center. The result was faster implementation, a more self-service onboarding experience, and support tickets that became more focused and specific, with fewer basic “how-to” questions. Groupize also gained enough flexibility to launch new in-app updates without engineering help, and the experience helped earn a Skift Idea Awards 2022 nomination.
