How Ajar became self-serve with UserGuiding’s automated onboarding and checklists

Ajar, a Dubai-based property management and rent collection platform serving landlords and tenants in English and Arabic, was onboarding every customer with time-consuming 1:1 sales sessions and needed to scale globally without a physical presence. To automate this process they turned to UserGuiding for a third-party user onboarding solution that could support multilingual experiences and self-serve flows.

UserGuiding delivered interactive walkthroughs, onboarding checklists, segmentation and Arabic-language guides that removed the need for manual hand-holding, enabling a self-serve first approach. By using UserGuiding’s checklist and segmentation features Ajar significantly reduced time spent on live onboarding and expects notable improvements in activation rates as they optimize content.
