Monroe County Library System in Florida Keys, USA, needed a better way to manage its public computer network across five branches. Its aging stand-alone Windows XP PCs created privacy, security, and virus concerns, and IT staff often had to drive long distances just to make small changes. Userful’s Userful Desktop was considered as a way to improve centralized control while keeping costs in check.

Userful implemented a zero client desktop solution that lets one PC power multiple independent, locked-down desktops, all managed remotely through Userful Manager.
