Congstar, a leading German mobile provider with nearly 6 million customers, partnered with Usercentrics GmbH to address GDPR and evolving privacy challenges that affect its data-driven marketing. Serving a young, privacy-savvy audience, Congstar needed a transparent, user-friendly consent solution—one that could capture reliable opt-ins, pass consents to third-party technologies, and remain compliant as regulations change. They selected the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform (CMP) v2 with IAB TCF 2.0 support.

Usercentrics GmbH implemented CMP v2 across Congstar’s sites (live on congstar.de plus multiple domains and subdomains) in about 10 weeks, delivering extensive banner customization, TCF 2.0 consent propagation, and interaction analytics to monitor approval rates. The solution lets non-technical staff manage settings, reduced regulatory workload by offloading legal updates to Usercentrics, and strengthened compliance and transparency for users—while enabling Congstar to preserve and optimize data-driven marketing through better consent management.
