United States Navy consolidates 31,000+ maintenance tasks with User Solutions

The United States Navy faced a significant challenge in managing the complex maintenance schedule for the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier. The Assistant Reactor Maintenance Officer was manually consolidating data from multiple disparate databases into ten separate Excel files to schedule over 31,000 preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. This process lacked finite capacity scheduling and level loading capabilities, making it impossible to efficiently allocate shared resources according to priority. An urgent solution was needed that was both secure and easy for over 400 sailors to adopt quickly.
