Saving money using Cisco Meraki

Per Mar Security Services, a family-owned full-service security company with 23 branch locations and more than 2,400 team members, faced high WAN costs and cumbersome deployments tied to an MPLS backbone that required outsourced installations and onsite IT travel. Working with US Signal to explore alternatives, Per Mar selected a Cisco Meraki solution to simplify networking and reduce ongoing WAN expenses.

US Signal helped implement Meraki MX appliances at the head end and remote sites, plus Meraki switches and wireless APs, using Meraki’s VPN mesh and cloud dashboard for centralized, self-provisioning management. The deployment eliminated Per Mar’s MPLS network, delivered substantial monthly cost savings, removed the need to outsource installations, simplified ongoing maintenance, and freed IT staff to focus on strategic initiatives while improving network speed and reliability.
