A-dec, a global leader in dental equipment manufacturing with more than 900 employees, faced growing IT complexity after deploying an ERP system (Infor Baan/Oracle DB) that consumed internal resources with day‑to‑day support and lacked the specialized application expertise needed. To preserve its culture and free IT staff for strategic projects, A-dec sought a partner to provide managed ERP support and infrastructure services and engaged US Signal to deliver those capabilities.
US Signal implemented an incremental managed‑services approach—providing 24/7 support, data center and ERP application/database administration, and later adding EDI administration and application development—which optimized A-dec’s environment and freed in‑house IT to focus on strategic initiatives. The engagement expanded within a year and grew into a long‑term, cost‑effective partnership, improving operational stability, service levels and enabling A-dec’s IT team to drive higher‑value business projects.
