Extra Credit Union Chooses Remote Monitoring and Management Platform from US Signal

Extra Credit Union, a Michigan-based not-for-profit credit union serving over 20,000 members, faced no true redundancy or failover plan, high IT costs that diverted funds from core services, and strict compliance requirements from the Department of Insurance and Financial Services. To address these challenges, Extra Credit Union selected US Signal to provide its Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform along with Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service, Backup-as-a-Service, cloud services and network connectivity.

US Signal implemented RMM to monitor performance thresholds, automate patching, antivirus and routine maintenance, and provide proactive alerts, while its Backup-as-a-Service and Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service continuously replicate production data between two US Signal virtual data centers for immediate failover. The deployment freed IT staff from routine tasks, reduced endpoint and server downtime, ensured regulatory compliance, enabled a hitch-free migration to US Signal’s cloud with zero downtime, and cut IT capital expenditures by 30–40%.
