Trek Bicycle Corporation, headquartered in Waterloo, Wisconsin, needed a way to lower IT capital costs while keeping applications and data highly available. As its data center needs grew, Trek looked for a colocation solution that could help it maintain control over its data, support global access, and operate in a secure, sustainable environment. It turned to US Signal for that support.

US Signal moved Trek’s production environment into its data center in Madison, Wisconsin, and Trek plans to add geographic diversity by moving its disaster recovery environment to another US Signal facility. Trek said the arrangement reduced overall IT management costs, gave it a more predictable operating expense model, and improved its confidence in data availability and security. Dane Sandersen said the execution was “nearly flawless” and that US Signal became one of Trek’s top-tier preferred partners.
