Cloud Services Help Provide a Launchpad for Innovation

Community Health Network (via its subsidiary Visionary Enterprises Inc.) created the Community Launchpad to capture innovation from its 12,000 employees but could not host or staff the new, HIPAA-sensitive platform on its internal systems. To get a scalable, compliant, and predictable hosting model, VEI engaged US Signal for cloud hosting and managed services, including a Compliant Dedicated Resource Pool, Managed Backups, Dedicated Internet Access, Cloud-based Managed Firewall, and Remote Monitoring and Management.

US Signal built a HIPAA-compliant, scalable hosting environment and provided ongoing management (backups, monitoring, firewall and dedicated connectivity). As a result, VEI eliminated the need to hire IT staff to support the platform, gained predictable monthly operating expenses, reduced compliance and breach risk, and now has a robust infrastructure that supports 12,000 users and can be expanded to offer Community Launchpad to other organizations.
