Havas People, part of Havas Worldwide, needed to protect sensitive personal data in its Engage ATS applicant tracking system and meet customer and public-sector demands for information security assurance. To strengthen its credentials and improve internal processes, the company chose to pursue dual certification to ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, using URM as its consultancy partner.

URM supported Havas People with scope definition, risk assessment, staff awareness, policy development, internal audits and management reviews, helping it implement a combined management system across the Engage ATS area and wider organisation. The result was dual certification achieved in March 2014, along with clearer risk management, better productivity and service levels, stronger staff buy-in, and measurable business impact: Havas People said it had “categorically won business” through ISO 27001, including a major central government contract and two additional public and private sector contracts.
