Audatex, the UK automotive claims solutions provider, needed to strengthen both information security and business continuity across its Theale operation while demonstrating best-practice management to customers and stakeholders. Working with vendor URM, the company set out to achieve dual certification to ISO 27001 and BS 25999-2 as a way to show it could protect shared data and maintain service continuity in a highly critical part of the claims supply chain.

URM supported Audatex through risk assessments, business impact analysis, testing, internal audits, and guidance on an integrated management system that combined both standards into one business-wide approach. The result was Audatex becoming the first organization to simultaneously certify to ISO 27001 and BS 25999, reducing duplication and assessment overheads while improving resilience, tightening access controls, increasing staff awareness, and boosting customer confidence in its security and continuity capabilities.
