North Florida TPO engaged Urban SDK to modernize its Congestion Management Process, moving from a static five‑year document to a dynamic, regularly updating report. Executive Director Jeff Sheffield sought automated reporting to reduce time and cost for data acquisition so the organization could be more efficient and pursue a broader range of planning studies.

Urban SDK’s platform aggregated open and premium mobility data (ITS, connected vehicles, IoT, crowd‑sourced) and indexed historical and real‑time feeds, then presented them as interactive maps, graphs and scorecards while maintaining a regional data warehouse for easy sharing. As a result, North Florida TPO now monitors over 200 performance indicators, publishes its CMP on an interactive website, has a single source of truth for partners, improved data‑driven decisions and FHWA compliance, and redirected savings into more planning studies thanks to Urban SDK.
