Legal Aid Organizations achieve 100 accessibility score with Urban Insight

Urban Insight, a digital agency, partnered with legal aid organizations to address challenges with their Drupal for Legal Aid Websites (DLAW) platform. The customer's websites had an outdated look and feel, which lacked design polish and made user navigation difficult, potentially turning visitors away. A key challenge was to modernize the platform while ensuring the update was backward compatible and did not force the new design on organizations that were satisfied with the existing theme.

The solution implemented by Urban Insight was the development of a new, modern, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessible theme for the DLAW platform. This included a feature allowing website editors to instantly switch between the new and old themes without development work. Urban Insight's work resulted in a more modern and trustworthy website presentation, a more robust mega menu for improved navigation, and a perfect PageSpeed Insights Accessibility score of 100.
