Savvy, a South Africa-based marketing agency, needed a way to amplify a client’s existing Facebook and Instagram advertising for Exact Clothing and drive more leads, followers, and engagement. Using UpViral, Daniela d’Hotman de Villiers looked to add a viral referral layer to the campaign while supporting the brand’s seasonal giveaway goals.
UpViral was used to run a three-week giveaway for Exact Clothing featuring two R1,000 gift cards, a lead capture form, share incentives, and custom actions for Instagram growth. The campaign generated 5,580 leads, over 2,000 WhatsApp shares, over 1,000 Facebook shares, and more than 800 new Instagram followers, while also delivering 20,000 ZAR in unexpected sales and a 400% ROI. UpViral helped keep acquisition costs low, with a reported cost per lead of about $0.61.
