ShopifiedApp, a new Shopify dropshipping application, needed a fast and low-cost way to build pre-launch buzz, grow an email list, and turn interest into sales. They used UpViral to run a viral waiting-list campaign before launch and then again during launch to capture and nurture potential buyers.
With UpViral, ShopifiedApp offered early beta access and a $10 discount in exchange for referrals, which generated 605 leads in the first 15 days from 231 social shares. Follow-up emails converted those leads into 67 sales worth $19,939, and a second UpViral campaign during launch added 62 more sales worth $18,500, for a total of $38,458 in tracked sales.
