Exact, a provider of cloud-based accounting and CRM software for SMEs, needed a way to verify availability, test key transactions, and prove SLA performance across customers in seven countries. Using Uptrends, Exact sought external monitoring that could fit into its existing alerting setup and help ensure its complex web application was both reachable and fully functional.

Uptrends implemented availability checks, transaction monitors, custom dashboards, and reporting tools, with alerts routed into Splunk On-Call. The result was easier SLA reporting, faster root-cause analysis, and better visibility into performance issues, including the ability to track login, data entry, and reporting workflows every few minutes and correlate slowdowns with recent releases.
