Agog launches an immersive brand and website in 8 weeks with Upstatement

Agog, a philanthropic initiative focused on using extended reality (XR) for social good, needed to launch a groundbreaking and scalable brand and website in just eight weeks for its debut at SXSW. The challenge was to create an identity for this unknown, category-creating startup that would demonstrate its belief in accessible XR technology. They partnered with the vendor Upstatement for comprehensive services including brand strategy, design, and website build.

Upstatement developed a spatial-first brand system functional in both 2D and 3D, which included a new logo, identity, and the website agog.org. The solution prioritized audience immersion and accessibility, allowing users to enter an XR experience directly from the site. The project was a success, earning Agog recognition as a Webby Honoree and winning multiple Anthem Awards. The new brand achieved its emotional, aesthetic, and practical goals, providing a foundation for Agog's mission to spur positive change through immersive media.
