GE Healthcare, a global leader in MRI equipment, faced slow, error-prone pick-and-pack operations at its Florence, SC warehouse where workers relied on printed orders and frequent trips to workstations to find alternate parts. To address these inefficiencies, GE Healthcare deployed Upskill’s Skylight industrial AR platform on smart glasses (Glass), aiming to speed fulfillment and reduce errors in a busy medical device manufacturing environment.

Upskill’s Skylight shows pick lists, item details, quantities and alternate locations in the worker’s line of sight, supports voice and touch controls, and integrates with GE’s warehouse management system to track picks and NILs and generate reports. The result: the first worker using Skylight completed a picklist 46% faster than the existing process (Upskill’s client average is a 32% productivity gain), cutting search time and improving overall warehouse throughput.
