Lowe’s Companies, a major home improvement retailer, needed to keep a large 60,000 sq. ft. data center running reliably while supporting stores across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. To improve cooling efficiency and reduce downtime risk, Lowe’s worked with Upsite Technologies and used KoldLok Grommets to address air loss through floor penetrations.

Upsite Technologies’ KoldLok helped Lowe’s seal cable cut-outs, better manage airflow, and arrange racks to direct cool air to cold aisles. The result was steadier temperatures around 69° to 70°F, less need for added cooling power and fans, and significant cost savings from improved cooling efficiency.
