Advertise Purple, an affiliate marketing agency, needed a better way to boost affiliate channel performance and recover abandoning shoppers without disrupting the buyer journey or cannibalizing sales. To address this challenge, the company partnered with Upsellit and used its Targeted Tactics technology to identify and engage users showing high abandonment intent at key points in the funnel.

Upsellit implemented behavioral parsing and abandonment detection to trigger personalized on-site messaging, including free shipping offers and, where possible, unique incentives like 10% or 15% discounts for abandoners only. The result was a 5.6% incremental increase in conversions, 25% of affiliate revenue attributed to Upsellit’s tactics, a 9.4% conversion rate for free shipping offers, and an 18% conversion lift when unique incentives were used.
