Eversource scales C&I battery DR to 100 MW with Uplight

Eversource, a major utility serving New England, faced the challenge of managing accelerating peak demand. To address this, they transitioned to Uplight's Edge DERMS platform to scale their commercial and industrial battery demand response program.

Uplight's solution enabled Eversource to coordinate 23 Curtailment Service Providers and hundreds of sites, successfully aggregating over 100 MW of load. The six-month platform migration was completed ahead of the critical summer 2025 season. The program improved CSP satisfaction with same-day M&V reporting and successfully motivated customer enrollment and retention.
