Sentinel Tech, a Portland, Oregon IT consultant serving small and medium-sized businesses, needed a simpler way to onboard, secure, and manage IT across six office locations for a fast-growing property management customer. Its existing infrastructure was too expensive and overly complicated for the client’s needs, creating challenges around remote access, security, and support.

To address this, Sentinel Tech implemented Uplevel Systems’ “Unbox” platform, which combined firewall, VPN, Wi‑Fi, remote management, and automated updates in one integrated solution. With Uplevel Systems, Sentinel Tech reduced travel time for onsite troubleshooting, improved network stability and security, enabled one-click site-to-site VPNs, and expanded remote management capabilities; the customer is now planning to roll the solution out to seven additional sites.
