A global biotech/pharmaceutical leader’s intravenous drug manufacturing division (GBPL) struggled to manage a large pool of sterile equipment that required tracking by item number and expiration date, location-based inventory control, and timely cleaning/sterilization. LFM automated replenishment signals, provided end-to-end visibility and usage analytics, and enabled mobile execution on the plant floor—resulting in on-time delivery improving from 62% to 82% within 60 days, elimination of stock-outs, reduced expirations and measurable productivity gains.
