The City of London Technology Services Division, serving a municipality of about 366,000 in southwestern Ontario, needed better visibility and control over its IT project portfolio. With 77 staff supporting hardware, systems development and telecommunications, the division struggled with fragmented project information, time-consuming manual reporting, poor time tracking and difficulty prioritizing projects under tight budgets.
The division implemented Upland’s Eclipse PPM to centralize all projects and workflows, starting with the most visible initiatives. Eclipse now provides executives with a single view of current and pending projects, standardized and ad hoc reporting at the click of a button, simpler time tracking and improved resource management—enabling senior IT leadership to make more informed project decisions.
