The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nationwide, community-based health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer. Facing the need to better engage donors and supporters across its event network, ACS sought a way to enable timely, two-way interaction before, during and after events.

ACS partnered with Upland Mobile Messaging to integrate mobile messaging into its CRM for 300 Relay for Life events, giving event coordinators the ability to communicate via mobile channels; the initiative created over 250 local databases and resulted in thousands of members being regularly engaged.
