A global agricultural equipment manufacturer with two tractor assembly plants and two engine plants needed to replace an internal manual Kanban card system that couldn’t be extended to suppliers. The manual process generated high overhead, lost and duplicate cards, and heavy reliance on email/phone/fax; the company required a cloud e-Kanban that could scale to 500+ suppliers, support barcodes and Portuguese language, integrate with JDE ERP, and deliver fast implementation and measurable ROI.

Following an Inventory Optimization Assessment and Portuguese-language use-case testing, the company selected Ultriva’s cloud-based Collaborative Supply Portal (CSP).
