EyeEm uses Localytics Predictions to reactivate 67.3% of high-risk churn users

EyeEm, a global community and marketplace for real photography, faced rising churn as users stopped creating and engaging in the app. To keep photographers active, the company needed an easy way to identify users at critical risk of leaving and to surface timely, relevant content that would prevent disengagement.

EyeEm used Localytics Predictions to analyze historical sessions and events, segmenting users into high, medium, and low churn-risk groups, then sent targeted, personalized push campaigns to high- and medium-risk users. The campaigns reactivated 67.3% of high-risk users—rescuing about 59,253 people—and improved retention by roughly 67% for the targeted segments, keeping close to 60,000 users engaged.
