Fenwick & West LLP, a Silicon Valley law firm with 300 attorneys and 200 staff across four U.S. offices, needed a better way to search information spread across multiple document management and business systems. Its existing search tools were not enough to provide fast, secure access to relevant information for attorneys and staff, so the firm turned to BA Insight.

BA Insight implemented an enterprise search solution built on Microsoft Office SharePoint and BA Insight’s Software Portfolio. The firm reported 2,560 hits in 1.22 seconds in initial tests, and attorneys and staff gained faster access to the right information, stronger security across non-AD systems, and improved reuse of firm knowledge. Fenwick & West said the new search tool increased productivity “by orders of magnitude” and improved client service through quicker access to information.
