CommonGrounds Workplace needed a more robust, user-friendly maintenance and asset-management system than the task-based Monday.com setup it had been using. The company selected UpKeep to centralize maintenance information for its teams—20 of the company’s 60 staff are currently on the system—and to replace disparate communication channels like email and Slack with a facilities-focused solution.
UpKeep implemented its work order plus inventory and asset management modules so workplace teams can create and track work orders, tag assets, attach labor costs, pricing, files and images, and monitor furniture and equipment movement across locations. The UpKeep rollout was quick with minimal training support from UpKeep’s implementation team, delivering consolidated communication, greater visibility than prior Excel-based tracking, and positive user adoption across locations.
