Caruso Uses Kiosks to Provide Centralized Data Access

Caruso, a property and hospitality operator, struggled with maintenance requests from hundreds of marketplace tenants being handled by emails, phone calls and paper, which led to lost requests and poor visibility into work order status. Ashley Roman oversaw the implementation of UpKeep, whose unlimited-requester capability made it well suited to Caruso’s multi-tenant environment.

UpKeep centralized all requests into a single system so tenants can check status, while staff can prioritize and delegate work orders to operations, engineering or housekeeping from mobile devices; kiosks were also installed for team members without phones. By using UpKeep’s automated preventive maintenance scheduling and centralized workflows, Caruso reduced emergency repairs, improved on-time task completion and increased transparency across departments.
