Areas, which manages high-volume vendor operations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), was running maintenance on paper, phone calls, and email—resulting in lost work orders, no central record, and a small maintenance team overwhelmed by requests. Ung Ho selected UpKeep’s computer maintenance management system (CMMS) from the iOS App Store to address these challenges.

UpKeep implemented an easy-to-use mobile CMMS with unlimited requesters, centralized work orders, and status tracking, enabling vendors to submit and monitor tickets. Within one month UpKeep helped Areas reduce downtime and increase efficiency, saved technicians time through better task prioritization and delegation, improved reporting to management, and supported the opening of four new restaurants at LAX.
