A UpGuard Case Study
Xinja, a 100% digital neobank in Australia, faced the challenge of meeting APRA Prudential Standard CPS 234 for information security while keeping operational overhead low and maintaining visibility into third‑party information assets. To address this, Xinja engaged UpGuard and adopted the UpGuard platform (including UpGuard Vendor Risk and UpGuard BreachSight) to continuously assess their external security posture and third‑party risks.
UpGuard implemented continuous vendor monitoring, a security questionnaire library for procurement and assessment, and first‑party ratings plus data‑leak and leaked‑credential detection through BreachSight. With UpGuard, Xinja continuously monitors 50+ vendors, 70+ unique risk vectors and 136 digital assets, accelerated onboarding through vendor training, automated vendor risk management, and gained visibility that “catches things that penetration testing misses,” reducing manual compliance effort and strengthening CPS 234 adherence.
