Liquidity Services, a surplus-management leader with over $1B in annual sales, faced configuration drift and needed to audit approximately one hundred Linux servers ahead of a data center migration to pay down technical debt. UpGuard’s tools cut what would have been days or weeks of manual auditing down to minutes, with heatmap visualizations creating a shared source of truth for Operations and Development. Using UpGuard, Liquidity discovered, prioritized and remediated differences, created UpGuard policies to bring systems under test-driven management, and accelerated adoption of automated build-and-deploy practices— materially reducing migration risk across the server estate.
