Mercedes‑Benz Perfumes engaged Upfluence to drive awareness and sales for its Mercedes‑Benz Man fragrance ahead of Father’s Day 2018. The goal was to generate at least 380K targeted impressions and 27K engagements among men and women aged 20–65 in the US, Germany and France by leveraging influencer content and social amplification.
Upfluence activated 25 on‑brand influencers (from 275 contacts), producing 45 posts and 8 articles and then amplified select content with paid social. The campaign delivered 4,273,463 total impressions (+300%), 110,245 engagements (+12.4%), and 1,115 clicks to retailers (+358.8%), including more than 1M organic impressions and ~98,000 organic engagements — outperforming expectations by ~3.9M impressions and ~83K engagements. Upfluence’s mix of targeted influencer outreach, giveaways and strategic amplification also drove 872 incremental retailer clicks from paid amplification.
