How Solar Screen reduced their 180-day past due invoices by 87% with Upflow

Solar Screen, a European self-adhesive film distributor (50+ employees, 20k+ invoices/year), faced poor visibility into accounts receivable that made collections slow, error-prone and multilingual outreach difficult. To address this, Solar Screen partnered with Upflow and integrated Upflow’s accounts-receivable automation platform with NetSuite to centralize AR data and provide a single source of truth.

Upflow delivered real-time customer balances, DSO and aging reports, customer/account-manager/country breakdowns and 10 tailored workflows (by language, size and risk), plus automated reminders and formal notices. As a result, Solar Screen reduced DSO by about 10 days (~15% within four weeks) and cut 180-day past‑due invoices/bad debt by 87% (bad debt fell from 8% to under 1% within two months), materially improving cash flow and customer responsiveness.
