Preview of the Schneider Electric Case Study

Schneider Electric cuts CO2 with Upflex by 28,770 tons a year

Schneider Electric, a global energy management and automation company, sought to implement a future-forward office strategy that supported remote work while advancing its ambitious sustainability goals. The company partnered with vendor Upflex to operationalize this strategy and give employees global access to flexible workspaces.

Upflex provided Schneider Electric with a tailored solution including access to a vast network of coworking spaces, cohesive data analytics for tracking energy use, and a hub-and-spoke office model. This enabled Schneider to significantly reduce employee commuting emissions, avoid the carbon footprint of new office construction, and actively reduce energy consumption across its portfolio. Through the partnership, Upflex also facilitates the planting of tens of thousands of trees annually on Schneider's behalf, contributing directly to carbon removal.
