Danone AQUA, part of Danone Group and the world’s largest bottled-water producer, faced the challenge of managing a very high volume of trade promotions across an enormous distribution footprint (over 8 billion liters sold through more than 2 million sales points across 17,000 islands). After a May 2011 consultancy review of promotion processes and TPM options, Danone AQUA selected the BluePlanner trade promotion management solution from UpClear.

UpClear implemented BluePlanner to centralize and automate trade promotion planning and execution for Danone AQUA; the vendor’s solution—also proven at Danone’s sister company PT Nutricia Indonesia—helped streamline promotion workflows and scale promotion management across the company’s extensive sales network.
