King Arthur Baking Company, an employee-owned, mission-driven baking brand and founding Certified B Corporation, partnered with UpClear beginning in 2008 to strengthen its sustainability and social-impact efforts. Facing the ongoing need to measure progress on a triple bottom line (people, planet, profit) and to implement technology and reporting that support programs like Corporate Impact and Bake for Good, King Arthur engaged UpClear as a long-term technology and sustainability partner.
UpClear collaborated with King Arthur Baking Company on impact reporting, technology initiatives (including a Technology Give-Back Program) and sustainability programs, helping institutionalize their corporate impact work and drive year-round community and environmental efforts. The relationship has been long-standing and measurable: UpClear’s first U.S. client in 2008 helped spur its growth to 50+ U.S. clients, King Arthur has continued its 1% for the Planet membership, and UpClear committed to join 1% for the Planet in 2021—demonstrating concrete progress on shared sustainability goals.
