Actimel and Activia, brands of Danone Netherlands, needed to improve collaboration between Sales and Operations to raise forecast accuracy and on‑shelf availability. To address this, they engaged UpClear and implemented its BluePlanner solution in 2010 to replace spreadsheets and manual planning processes.

The solution established a better‑controlled promotion process, eliminated numerous spreadsheets and manual tasks, and delivered a fully integrated planning process that improved forecast accuracy and on‑shelf availability for Actimel and Activia.
