Case Study: Laakirchen Papier AG achieves efficient pulper rope recycling with UNTHA XR3000C mobil-e

A UNTHA Case Study

Preview of the Laakirchen Papier AG Case Study

Laakirchen Papier AG shreds 25 tonnes of pulper ropes daily with UNTHA

The customer, Laakirchen Papier AG, a paper manufacturer, faced the challenge of processing 25 tonnes of difficult-to-handle pulper ropes daily. These large, dense ropes contained a mix of materials that needed to be shredded and separated for recycling and thermal recovery. They turned to vendor UNTHA for a solution.

UNTHA implemented an XR3000C mobil-e shredder to process the pulper ropes in a single-step, energy-efficient operation. The shredder produced a homogeneous granulate, from which metals were separated for recycling and other materials were prepared for thermal recovery. This allowed the customer to commercially use their production waste, supporting their sustainability goals. The vendor UNTHA's solution met all expectations for power and efficiency.
