Breitsamer Entsorgung & Recycling GmbH, a waste and recycling company processing 200,000 tonnes of material annually, needed an energy-efficient shredding solution to process construction and bulky waste into a homogeneous alternative fuel. They required a throughput of 15-20 tonnes per hour and a uniform output material with a grain size of approximately 200 mm for subsequent processing.

UNTHA implemented its stationary XR3000RC shredder with the RC cutting system. The solution processes 35,000 tonnes of material per year, achieving a highly homogeneous output ideal for use as alternative fuel. The shredder's low-speed rotor and Eco Power Drive make it up to 75% more energy-efficient than comparable diesel-operated units, providing excellent value for money and reliable performance.
