William Hill, a global betting and gaming company, faced the challenge of shifting from a largely reactive mental health approach to a proactive, accessible wellbeing strategy for around 4,000 colleagues who may experience mental health issues each year. To meet employee expectations for on-demand support and to embed wellbeing into day‑to‑day life, William Hill partnered with Unmind to roll out a digital mental health solution across the organisation.
Unmind’s platform was launched globally as the core proactive tool, featuring evidence‑based content, the new Unmind Series “Flourishing at Work,” device‑friendly access, and targeted campaigns (including a Q3 focus on diet and nutrition). By combining Unmind with more frequent pulse checks, William Hill gained real‑time analytics and visibility via the Unmind Index to see which Series and Tools colleagues use, enabling the business to measure engagement, track wellbeing trends, and better target interventions — complementing existing EAP services and supporting improved productivity and reduced absenteeism.
